Investment funds and Carbon Footprints
Move investment funds and save the envrioment Current mood: awake
The impact of moving a £10,000 investment from the fund with the largest carbon footprint to one with the smallest is the equivalent of reducing 14 tonnes of CO2 per annum, according to environmental research business Trucost. In contrast the average UK household emits just six tonnes of CO2 a year.
Trucost analysed 44 of the largest UK investment trusts and open-ended funds. It divided the carbon output of the portfolio companies by the size of the investments and the fund with the smallest carbon footprint was a UK investment fund by a well known company

Ireland vs Wales and Winning is great
Ireland won, being an Englishman with strong Irish roots, felt a great sense of proud ness at the result.. sorry Wales.. In fact the weekend, felt even better considering England also won, after some time and one of my race horses, 'Blackie'also won his race.
Cardiff was a amazing place to hang out for the rugby, I was part of a interesting group who invited me up, all great at what they do, day to day , while also being good people at heart...a rare quality these days.
Have a busy week ahead, http://www.earth2zero.com/ is to be launched, along with a web 2.0 Vc fund set up by myself and my business partner in SanFrancisco. Oh and have to find a new home for my horse 'Credo is king'. ..
So heres to blogs, and David Murray-Hundley actually posting on a daily basis....yeah right
